Im going to have to give this one a miss and alot of others I've seen :mad:
My old place only asked me to come back about 2 or 3 months and it would very unfair if I upped and went, Im going to have alook around end of this year/start of next year.

Hopefully the e-mail containing my CV and covering letter appeared in the recruitment@bexleyheath.bexley.sch.uk inbox around about 1PM on Monday, hopefully that was early enough to be considered.
I just heard back from the school - i wasn't successful getting an interview :(

After that I am wondering if not having heard anything is a good thing or a bad thing, at least they seem to be considerate enough to inform the unsuccessful candidates unlike many other positions I have applied for.
I emailed the person and asked her.
I am a bit disappointment that I didnt even get an interview as I know I could do the job but hey not down to me :confused:
Did you e-mail through the recruitment@ e-mail address mentioned in the document? Just curious since it would be interesting to know that what I sent through got there.

Thank you, just a little worried now that the e-mail address I sent it to isn't monitored regularly, I might drop the e-mail address you've used to ask if it was received. Thanks again, at least it has given me another option since it would be inappropriate to use my current employer's phone system to make the enquiry during work hours and I imagine that they work similar hours to me and as such there will be no-one there if I call from home this evening.
OK, I've dropped off an e-mail enquiring if my message to the advertised e-mail address had in fact been received. Thanks again for the lead on the alternative e-mail address.

Come on... martynbez has been kind enough to post this job on here, theres no need to start jumping to conclusions about internal candidates and all that!
In these times I'd bet they've had far more applications than usual and many are probably also capable of doing the job.
