great to hear, keep us informed.
Axe I am very happy for you.
I hope your employment goes from strength to strenght from now on.
Not sure how I missed this epic thread before (maybe its because I've only come in this forum when I'm interested in jobs myself!) but I've spent most of the morning reading it (I'm sad) and it is quite heart warming the way people have helped and supported AXE and so glad you eventually found a job mate.
It is good to know there are such genuine, kind people on here who are willing to spend their time helping someone out :)
Welldone @ Axe Nice to here from you hope it all goes well :-)
Hey anyone know how AXE is getting on nowadays? Its been a while now and I quite miss this thread...
Hello. :) Still enjoying my job. Has it really been nearly a year since I started? Wow!
I've been really busy... Packaging software, building databases, learning c#... writing an MMC plugin or two. ;)
Still commuting 6 hours each day, though I might have a lift to work sorted out very soon. :D
Long term, I'd like to sell my house and move closer, but the housing market is dead.
More fun...
I'll be suffering a HUGE cut in income in the next few weeks (due to the end of Working Tax Credits), my creditors are not helping me at all. So this topic might soon become "Axe's real-life adventures presents: Banks - Mostly Hopeless"
AXE...everything has a solution so it will sort itself out :) congrats on the anniversary of the job! :D
@AXE good to hear from you! :) I'm delighted the job is going so well. Keep in touch!
Definitely keep in touch Axe - so pleased you are still working - I cant believe it has been a year! :)
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned in the thread already, so apologies if you already know or have tried this before, but these guys: Debt help | Free debt advice for UK debt problems | Free debt management | CCCS are brilliant at working with creditors on your behalf - goodness knows how I'd have survived 2007-8 without them!
Congrats AXE :D
I think we should close this thread now. Start another one entitled "Axe's Employment History" and put a 1st post with a brief run down of the stats for the last year, like your first post here. Maybe include miles travelled, bus tickets bought, costs incurred etc. Then we can follow the new working you ..
Go on then :)
