Also maybe put it into context my other half works for supermarket a local one and that getsa bout 10 people applying each time for a job. The tescos in town got i think over 150 people applying for 20 or so jobs. A local network managers job (term time + 3 weeks holiday work) got 20 people applying a job that would of been lucky to get 5 people 12+ months ago. The local school to me had over 50 people apply for a KS2 teacher.
So competition is very tough for any job.

My daughter just appiled to work in a new Waitrose - they got 800 odd applicants for about 150 jobs!

Never mind after work, given the tone of previous posts, the police need to be called. I'm sure they wouldn't mind a false alarm.
