IT Technician/Desktop Support
This client is a small dynamic IT Services company that supports schools across South London, providing IT support to a range of primary, secondary and special schools. The role will involve going to the schools and completing a variety of tasks such as maintaining users, application deployment, new installations, repairing printers and workstations. During holiday periods projects are undertaken such as server and network upgrades. Opportunities for training will be available.
They are looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic individual to join the small IT Services team, supporting schools across South London. Solid experience of Windows XP Professional and networking skills (TCPIP, connectivity) is essential and some experience with Windows 2003 Server and Active Directory is preferable. Knowledge of disk imaging software and RM CC3 would be an advantage but not essential.
The candidate would ideally have a background in an education or public sector environment.
The role is a fixed 1 year contract with a strong potential to extend and pays up to £26,000 + travel expenses + bonus and an initial 3 month probation, to start immediately.
