Working within a University
Hello, I often lurk but have never really done much around here.
I have come across a job advert for an IT Technician in a local University, and the job on paper suits me for numerous reasons. My background is ~4 years experience as an IT Technician/HelpDesk Support in secondary education, so I'm wondering in what ways the job of IT Technician would differ in Higher Education facilities than the role I am currently used to. I am currently preparing some questions, research and observations so I can go in prepared should I be invitied for interview. Does anyone have any insight into this line of work within a University facility?
