1st Line IT Assistant - Tonbridge, Kent - Closes 21/8/2013

Due to continued growth of the Bank, we are recruiting an additional member into our hard-working IT team.
This is a junior entry role and we are seeking someone with reliable administration skills, and a minimum six months’ IT work experience gained within a similar role. This vacancy involves carrying out routine basic IT processes and procedures which are essential to supporting the business, and would suit someone who has great customer service and communication skills as you will be the first point of contact in IT.
You will handle all the team’s incoming emails and telephone calls which can be from in-house colleagues or our remote workers located across the UK. To do this you must be methodical, demonstrate professionalism and take ownership for ensuring all enquires are logged, responded to, and possess good team communication skills particularly for assessing how and when to escalate queries to the next line of support so that all issues can be ‘closed-off’ in a timely and professional manner.
It is essential that you are IT literate with working knowledge of MS Office Suite 2007/2010, Active Directory and be Comptia A+ Certified: 220 – 801 and 220 – 802.
