Media Technician, Dagenham
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic media technician to join our school community where the use of ICT and digital signage has become a normal part of everyday life. The successful candidate will be proficient in the following areas:
Mac OSX Server Maintenance: includes administration and technical/classroom support
Whole School Digital Signage: General administration; Content creation and organisation and general maintenance (preferably ONELAN).
School Website: Design; content creation and Management (recently upgraded to a Wordpress setup).
Learning Platform: Content creation (icons, subject areas, etc).
School Media: Video editing; Promotion videos, events, etc.; Image design; Brochures, leaflets, signage, etc.
Support for Dance, Drama and Music curriculum areas: duties would include general maintenance; Operating lighting/sound for the main theatre during shows and exams; Technical/classroom support; video (exam evidence); Film - import, edit, export & archive.
Successful applicants will be requested to provide a brief portfolio as well as completing a task involving the creation of a poster for a School Open Day and subject icons for a website.
Dagenham Park Church of England School is a mixed, multi-ethnic 11-18 Voluntary Controlled Church of England school. We moved into a brand new building with excellent facilities in April 2012.
