37 hours per week full time

Morecambe Community High is a successful and forward looking 11 - 19 school. Over the last 6 years we have invested over £500,000 in our ICT structure and software suites to enhance our teaching and learning and improve communications. We are currently planning our next big ICT development and see the Network Manager playing a significant and strategic role in the project.

We are looking for someone creative, with a high level of technical ability and teamworking skills, to be responsible for the school’s ICT network. He/She will provide an efficient and effective ICT Technical Support Service to the school, staff and students and work closely with his/her line manager to further develop the use of ICT in school.

Apologies for bumping this. I have had quite a few people asking the reason why this post has been advertised so soon after the last one. The main reason is that the successful candidate accepted the last post and we waited three months for his contract to run out but he then decided to go for another post a few weeks before his start date and went to that one instead.
