2 * SharePoint Technicians - Zodiak Media (Temp to Perm)

We're looking for 2 SharePoint technicians to work with the current SharePoint administrator on various projects. Exposure to SharePoint 2010 and an enthusiasm and passion for the platform is vital, but in-depth knowledge is not a requirement. You will be responsible for bringing the various projects in progress to deployment, and providing user support after deployment as well as suggesting new business needs that SharePoint can fulfill. You will be a self-starter willing to learn and develop skills as the implementation grows.

Customer support or service experience is beneficial.

The roles will begin on a three month contract, with the intention of going to a permanent position after the three months are complete. Salary is from £23-£28k depending on experience.

Send CVs to james.bore@zodiakmedia.com, interviews and start ASAP.

Zodiak Media offices are in Kensington, London. For any questions or queries about the job role or company, please contact me either by PM or at james.bore@zodiakmedia.com.

Would like to move it somewhere cheaper than London, but the company don't seem receptive.

To get experience you need the job, to get the job you need experience.

It's like you want the industry to just be the same few people floating around.

I'm not after in-depth experience and knowledge, just familiarity and a strong interest in learning more. If someone knows what SharePoint is, can create sites from templates and do basic power-user level work then they'd be suitable.

That was a general "you", not you in particular.

I know, but hopefully I've made it clear. Really the position is aimed at someone who wants to gain that experience and knowledge rather than someone who has it already. There will be some degree of being thrown in at the deep end, but armbands are available.

Just as an update, we've now filled one of the roles but are still looking for candidates for the second.
