Cheslyn Hay Sport & Community High School
Lead ICT Technician:
Required a.s.a.p.
We are looking to appoint 1 x Lead ICT Technician to join our very successful ICT support department in an Infrastructure Support role following the previous member progressing to a higher role. The successful candidate will have a professional attitude for providing a customer focused support service to all stakeholders of the school. Good communication skills and an enthusiastic flexible attitude to all members and situations are essential. This position is to provide 3rd Line Support/Network Administration to all members of the school. Daily duties include maintenance of all servers Inc virtualised CC4 infrastructure, Citrix remote services, advanced trouble shooting, application deployment and development, end user assistance, staff and pupil support, staff training and other associated duties. Additional responsibilities include supervising the 1st/2nd Line technicians in their daily duties. Applicants should preferably have Microsoft Server/VMware and Citrix experience with Microsoft and RM CC4 certification being preferable. Previous supervisory experience and experience working in schools is also preferred.

Daily duties include maintenance of all classroom equipment, trouble shooting, desktop deployment, end user assistance, staff and pupil support, staff training and other associated duties. Additional responsibilities include maintaining an Asset Management System and Stock Control tasks. Applicants should preferably have a Microsoft Desktop Support qualification with an RM CC4 certification also being preferable. Previous technician experience and experience working in schools is also preferred.
