DEPUTY NETWORK MANAGER

We are seeking a Deputy Network Manager to join our IT Department due to an on-going program of expansion of our IT systems, including our VMware and Citrix infrastructures. The Deputy Network Manager will provide a high level of technical and organisational assistance to the Network Manager, and will support the management, effective operation, development and administration of all computer network systems throughout the school. The Deputy Network Manager will be closely involved with high level technical projects, developing robust IT systems for staff and student use.

This role would be an ideal first step for an experienced Senior Technician moving into management.

Applicants will have a thorough knowledge of computer design and components, computer network design (LAN and WAN), structured network cabling, equipment and components and the ability to analyse and solve technical problems. Applicants must have at least three years’ experience working with Windows Server systems and two years’ experience of Active Directory administration. The post is a full time all year round position.
