I don't think it's been re-advertised yet. It's probably out on Friday so you've got a couple of weeks I would think.

It hasn't appeared in either of the local papers yet... I've just pinged an email to my friend who works in that school's office. Jay_Jay has now left, so may not know.

OK. I've spoken to my friend as she says the job may not be re-advertised until after Easter.

I have just spoken to the HR manager and, expanding on elsiegee40's research, the senior leadership team are going to meet to discuss the future of the job role.

They currently have a contractor (sole trader) who has been working with the school for years, and he is providing helpdesk ticket escalation support, if the technicians are unable to resolve a problem.

The review will decide whether they appoint another Network Manager, or whether they hire a third technician and utilise the contract.

If the decision is to appoint a Network Manager, possibly with a different job spec/salary, then they will review the previous applications, and possibly re-interview/appoint a previous applicant; otherwise they'll re-advertise the position.
