If you jump on a tube and come a bit more central you can't beat Hawksmoor Hawksmoor - the best steak restaurant in London

However you do pay for it....but MY GOD THE MEATY GOODNESS

I always go to the same restaurant in London, but it is right in the centre. It's called Arbutus. It's Michelin starred, but very reasonably priced.

    Home | Arbutus, 63 — 64 Frith Street London

It's without doubt, the best restaurant I've ever been to.

Now the question is Hawksmoor or Goodmans (Goodman Steak Restaurant in Mayfair City Canary W London, Popularly Regarded as the Best Steak in London 2011 2012 | Goodman Restaurants). I think we need to try both out at BETT to decide

The Bountiful Cow. Quite a few of us have eaten here in the past. It's a 10-15 min walk from Euston. Just make sure you get there about half an hour after it opens so the grills are working well

    CONGRATS!

I'd check out http://www.thisislondon.co.uk which is one of the local rags.
    Local loot is good to.
Best thing to do if you have time is to go down and spend a few days, as places seem to go fast.
    gumtree website can be useful.

also get in touch with @Ric_ as he just had to sort out new digs.
