You won't get LGPS in a private school though hence why salarys tend to be a tad higher.

Witch you gone for any of the local jobs or my job? It would be funny if you got two of my jobs ; )

I used to drive all the way to Upton and Hamworthy from Xchurch - petrol was a killer more so now! Specially on school wages.

I have a 20 mile each trip at the moment. Finding that a cost that i could do without.

Dam! Where do you live and work?

Having said that I will soon be doing a bit of commuting now and again to North Dorset.

Both heads at my previous schools commute in from portsmouth to bournemouth every day - pretty far (100 miles there and back each day). Then again they can afford it

Used to live in Sherborne. The international school is one of three main private schools, lots of wealth in that area so the money should be good.

I would consider Bryanston, but a 20 mile trip for me each day wouldn't be worth it.

Wouldn't move to Blanford either as there is nothing there!
