ICT Network Manager, Swanhurst School, Billesley, Birmingham

    Salary : GRADE 3 £18,453 - £23,708
Hours : 36.5 HOURS PER WEEK – FULL TIME
    Closing Date : 31/10/2011

Imagine a school where none of the 600+ computers are more than three years old because of long term, intelligent business planning. Now imagine that the staff enjoy using ICT because it makes their lives easier, not harder and that the students value and care for the provision they are given. Now imagine the opportunities available to you as the Network Manager of a school where this is already a reality.

Swanshurst School is a very successful and innovative school for girls with nearly 1,800 students on roll aged 11-19 years. We are looking for an ICT Network Manager to join our existing experienced IT Support Team on the continuing journey to a place where new technologies are absorbed and form an integral part of the teaching and learning of every child. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced IT practitioner to make use of their full potential. Whether you are a skilled IT Technician or an existing Network Manager, if you have ever felt you have more to offer given the right environment then either visit Swanshurst School : A Specialist Science College for more information and an application form or contact Sharon Smith on 0121 464 2410.

Applicants requesting an online application form must submit their completed and signed application to the school by post and not by electronic transfer.

    Closing on Monday 31st.

A general observation and it has nothing to do with this job (in particular) but is it just me who thinks that posting documents like the Job Description as a word document is horribly unprofessional and that a PDF should be used instead?

(these guys have posted a mix on their site of both Word and PDF)
