A Local Authority school support unit in Yorkshire requires a Head of Assessment to take the lead in developing an accurate and timely assessment strategy which enables schools to receive consistent and constructive assessment advice. Improvements in education standards are progressing faster than average but there is still lots of do and this is a key role in that delivery. You will be leading a team of officers and will be working with Heads acorss the borough, provide leadership, monitoring and improving tracking, manage finances of team and understand assessment tracking software and organisations like fisher, raise, Cats etc
