Moodle Developer Wanted
I am looking for someone who is able to write some modules for Moodle. We are a teacher training company developing an e-portfolio and assessment system for our courses, so need someone who could work with us on a contractual basis.
These are the sort of things we are looking for:
A. Digital Portfolio
Develop and create a portfolio module for Moodle that allows students
to collate media (images, movies, audio) blogs and written work into
one place that can be easily accessed and annotated by teachers.
This portfolio section must be fully integrated into Moodle via a
students course.
The portfolio should allow a student to add their own comments to any
item they add to the portfolio. It should also be possible to export the portfolio as a zipped file at any
time.
The portfolio should give a student the ability to organise the
portfolio into sections as necessary.
There is already an portfolio plugin module for Moodle that has some
of this functionality that could be used as a basis for development.
B. Blogging
To develop the existing blogging function of Moodle to allow audio
and video blogging. This would enable students who are not
comfortable with the written word to make contributions as necessary.
C. Marking Scheme
To develop a section of the course that would allow a teacher or
assessor to see a marking scheme and a grading window simultaneously
in Moodle. This would enable an assessor to mark a piece of work
accurately using the provided marking scheme. The system would
enable an assessor to see the marking scheme relevant to the
assignment being marked.
D. Self Evaluation
To develop the existing Quiz module so that it allows a student to do
a self evaluation.
If anyone is interested or can point me towards a suitable developer I would be very grateful.
Chris

I'd look into Alfresco/Moodle integration if you want portfolios.
Moodle V1.9 will support the alfresco JSR repository and this would be an extremely good basis for a portfolio.

Re: Moodle Developer Wanted
Thanks for the advice. I'll look into it as a possible route for our portfolio development.
