    ICT Technician - Springwood High - Norfolk

    Got a position available at our High school for an ICT Technician.

    Please see job description for details!

    We're located in King's Lynn, Norfolk - PE30 4AW

    Full Time job (not pro rata)
    Pay: Point 7 £12,787 pa 37 hours per week

    We have approx 850 computers and 65 servers.

    my first guess would be citrix or similar although i wouldn't thin clients computers

    I agree but for 850 machines I would still think 65 servers would be excessive even for Citrix or something similar. I suppose it also depends on the spec and infrastructure too.

    possibly 50 for citrix circa 17 each host - then 15 for files mis etc

    65 servers is a crazy amount Citrix or not trust me!!!!!!!!!!!

    *picking my self off the floor!*...........65 Servers for a school is very excessive!

    I hope the pay for the network manager is good for the amount of servers he has to look after!

    salaries are inversely proportional to the number of servers, it's how school budgets work
