About the role
Working within the ICT
Support and Operations Team, you'll help provide ICT
support services to our staff as part of a first-line helpdesk, resolving queries and problem solving. You'll maintain and manage all ICT
equipment, installing and configuring user hardware and upgrading or replacing equipment as needed. You'll also monitor and analyse systems and processes to ensure the highest service provision possible.
With a good understanding of Windows operating systems and hardware, and demonstrable practical experience of repair and maintenance of ICT
equipment within an organisation, you'll be adept at fault-finding and problem solving at both PC and network level. You'll also have some experience of dealing with customers in both face-to-face and over-the-phone situations, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. You'll need to be able to travel to customer sites, so a driving license and own vehicle are essential.
