Post: ICT Service Delivery Manager (Permanent)
Salary: Circa £55,000 pa
Terms of post: Full time (36 hrs per week)
The Crest Boys’ Academy and The Crest Girls’ Academy along with the Crest Sixth form are seeking an experienced ICT professional with proven management skills to implement and develop an ICT service across all three academies.
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Leadership Team and will be responsible for the strategic planning day to day management of all aspects of the service delivery to the business with a focus on customer service.
You will possess the ability to plan for the future. The service will move towards a managed service on completion of the new buildings from 2013 and beyond. You will possess a broad range of high level interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively both in and outside the organisation. You will have a wide range of experience managing all aspects of an ICT service with a focus on ITIL compliant helpdesks or the FITS Framework.
A highly competent, flexible and strongly customer focussed approach that consistently demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude is required with the ability to communicate clearly with clients in a language they understand is essential.
We ideally require candidates with a background within the education sector who would be involved in all areas of both academies.
The appointment is subject to satisfactory clearance from full Disclosure of Criminal Records Checks. It is a criminal offence for anyone who is on the Disqualified from Working with Children list or disqualified from working with vulnerable adults or the elderly to apply for or to continue to work in this position.
