The Queen's School Chester
Independent Day School for Girls
We are looking for a well-qualified, highly technically competent systems engineer to play an important role in maintaining and developing the school’s servers, network infrastructure and related systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a flexible approach are essential to meet the varied demands of a school environment.
Applicants must have a relevant degree or professional accreditation, plus a thorough knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, and network hardware. Moreover they should have two years or more systems administration experience in a busy academic or business environment.
Additionally the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuously improving their technical knowledge.
Salary
Salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience and is between points 29 and 32 (£24,817pa - £27,239 pa) on The Queen’s School support staff salary.
