You had me all the way to "term time only" The cut is just too big, but the holiday would be great!
Alex, not sure what you mean, it is a full time post !! 37 Hrs per week 52 weeks per year, less your 22 days and Bank Holidays.
The part time is an option.
Roger

The job advert says Term:full time, Required: term time, which normally means 37 hrs/week during term only
Maybe you can get it changed?
regards
Simon
Thanks Simon, it is ok in the newspapers, Lancs CC made the error, will be changed shortly.
Roger
Hehe, got me worried there, thought I was losing it, maybe I'll look again, I'd love to move back closer to home, been "down south" for far too long now.
Well, as far down south as the midlands is anyway.
Which part of the midlands don't you like then Alex? ;-)
Sadly the forum rejected my first reply, said something about, too many characters...![]()

But pay isn't for that level of expertise really.
I have an MCSE and wouldn't get out of bed for that. No offence. Schools really need to shake up their pay scales. Going round schools this last month I have been amazed at the amount of people with excellent qualifications who are willing to work full-time for (some of them) £14,000 a year! All my mates have MCSEs, and their average wage is £30,000!!

School shave been to burnt with paper MCSEs in the past. Like most senior guys here, I hire off experiance rather than quals if the candidate has enough experiance that overrules any boot camp obtained quals.Originally Posted by invasive

They don't - at least around here.Schools really need to shake up their pay scales.
That's the best paying job for a technician thats been seen around these parts for a while.![]()
Too many computer graduates with tons of qualifications and no jobs - I think his last technician had 2 PhDs![]()
If it wasn't for the fact the Roger prob doesn't want another old codger like himself - I'd be after it like a shot![]()

I'm not an old codger as you put it, but not having met Roger I don't know him or his age, and if he's a great bloke it doesn't worry me, he seems great so far from the messages I've had from him.

He's a gentlemen and a scholar and he was very helpful to me when I started my 1st Job in schools ICT![]()
