A new year is nearly upon us, if you are an IT Manager or a Head of IT who is looking for a new start and an opportunity that will give you the chance to lead the development and expansion of my client's IT infrastructure and manage the dedicated IT team then this could be for you. A unique organisation, my client is expanding massively and sees IT as an integral part of the business as it continues to grow in the future. You will be responsible for leading the development of group IT infrastructure, resources and technical support in line with business needs and long term strategy. The successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate experience of the following: managing a Microsoft Active Directory & Exchange 2000/2003 infrastructure, having responsibility of IT budgets in excess of 1.5-2 million, managing and developing a team spread over remote sites and having overall responsibility for the IT service function for 1000+ users and 20+ sites. Other relevant skills would be experiencing the growth of a start-up or venture capitalist funded organisation, experience of implementing applications across sites with differing needs, promoting and championing IT across a business, managing change and taking old, legacy IT infrastructures and implementing new technology.
