Description: We need an experienced IT Support Engineer in SW London to implement and support a new and leading edge ICT installation into a London secondary school in Lambeth. This is part of a 10 school WAN in Lambeth employing 12 RM IT staff
This is a great opportunity to be involved in the installation project and then take charge of the network - 300 PC's, 6 Servers in a WAN. There is great training and career progression opportunities within RM. Do you have the following?
a) A minimum 3 years PC, Server, network and hardware support experience including Windows 2000 & Active Directory experience
b) Dedicated Customer Focus and proven communications skills(a high level of spoken and written English)
c) Excellent time management, punctuality and a proactive approach.
d) A relevant IT qualification, eg MCSE or an IT degree, RM will provide significant product training
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Managing & Supporting the school network(around 300 PC's + 6x 2003 Servers) and project work/ Installations
- Ensure high systems availability (99%)
- Work PROACTIVELY with the school and the RM Team
