Another poll you could run - No. of students and staff and support staffing levels.

We've got 1345 students on roll, 110+ teching staff/assistants and over 40+ non teaching staff that use IT resources.

    Staffing - 1 x Network Manger plus 1 x Assistant Network Manager

interesting poll-I would think that any network manager role within a school would be considered a senior officer and hence at least be on SO1.

It sickens me that there are skilled ICT staff (with lots of responsibilty) in schools on scale 3, essentially the same as (no offense) reception staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you move up a point each year in April.

When you reach the top of your scale- u dont automatically go to the next one. Usually you have to get a review to move on to the next scale though I know some people who have stayed at the top of their scale for years and only got 1% cost of living increase.

I will be reaching top of my scale in April so will be hoping to move to the next one soon!
