Guiseley School holds 5th phase specialist Technology College status and has recently been judged as a good and improving school by Ofsted.
This post is to work with the Network Manager and ICT Technician. The school has a large (500+) PC network running in a Windows XP, Windows 7, Server 2003 & 2008 environment.
Specific responsibilities will include:-
Providing technical support to all staff and students
Developing and maintaining often complex ICT solutions in conjunction with the Network Manager
Delivering the appropriate support service, training and awareness for ICT developments
Be involved in the strategic planning of future technical developments
Proactively drive systems development by keeping up to date with cutting edge systems technologies.
Supporting, mentoring and training other members of the technical support team
