Job Description: Our client is currently seeking candidates to join their team to provide 1st Line IT support to over 2,800 schools throughout the Essex area. The ideal candidate will have an interest in IT and be able are to offer an excellent level of customer service.

Key duties will require you to;

- Work as a member of the first-line team to log / update contacts made to the Service Desk using the company database or other media as required

- To communicate with customers demonstrating high levels or professionalism

- To provide support on a range of software and technical issues to our customers using telephone, email, fax and remote access tools

- To support colleagues in the execution of their duties

This position involves 95% phone work so a strong telephone manner is essential for the role.

This is a contract position for 6 Months until April 2009, the equivalent permanent salary for the role is £14,000 per annum. The company is open from 8 am to 5.30 pm with most employees working an 8.30am to 4.30 pm shift. One hour is offered in breaks per day, consisting of a half hour lunch break and two 15 minute lunch breaks. Free parking is available on site.
