6th November 2009, 02:27 PM #3 Not heard of anything and just checked with two schools I thought it might be ...
Actually, I had heard that they need someone over at Unity
It might be they have put Northampton and actually mean Northamptonshire ... It might also not be an LA school.

7th November 2009, 09:43 PM #8 I have been told that a company in the area which support schools has some jobs in with agencies and it might be one of these, but the salary seems a tad high for them.
Not seen anything else for schools, but wondering if one of the colleges is looking. As it happens the previously posted job IT Services Technical Support Officer (Ref 688) - Tresham is still available (closing data 11th November) but it doesn't look like the one Kev originally posted.
If anyone does find out more let me know ...

Thanks for the plug, and I can confirm we're not looking for a network manager either.

The job is actually working for Capita (.ICT) - I enquired about a week ago - so I don't know why they have advertised it as a vacancy in a school.
