Thank you all for showing up my lack of time, at least I put it on the website even if I did forget to put it up here

and Zak, it's not quite my job, I will be filling in in the gap with the assistant princpal between this person starting and the current post holder leaving (and no I won't be dropping the IT!) Scary that you said its my job though, you are about the 5th person to do that including someone who phoned me and said OMG your leaving and I was what you mean my job is in the paper!

Anyway, the role, Its a Data Management role, but its more than just a data secretary. The pack says it better than I can do tbh, so download away We use Serco Facility for our Data, and the successful applicant will work closely with the Leadership and myself to re-structure it to suit the College better. I am a very big Serco person, I enjoy it and like it highly so a fellow Serco Lover would be good

Anyway thanks for posting it up We should get back on topic that we want applicants As much as I enjoy data and reporting, my technician may like me to spend some time training him up on our systems (as he only started 2 weeks ago) and I would like to do some IT work this half term as well as data So all applications greatly received

That role, AKA College Manager is, our Data Manager (who's role this replaces - they are leaving and the leadership have decided to re-structure the role) didn't use to do anything much with the Timetable, odd changes etc not entire build the College timetable. The Assistant Principal did, but its moved to this role instead now, working with the SLT on the structure of it etc.

Anyone thinking about this role and not knowing a lot about the school or people, go for it.
I've met some of the staff, and the kids, on numerous occasions, spent a week or so in Settle now, and worked with John on several occasions.
The staff, school, kids, setting and resident 'John' are all top notch. If this is the kind of job you're wanting, jump at this opportunity! It doesn't come up very often, trust me i know!

Hehe, maybe I should put a link to Winzip on like you used to do in the ye-olde days before every PC had a built in zip program (is there many people left using Win 98 or older?!) There is about 9 documents in it hence zipping it up, as its not that quick to link documents in Contribute.

Anyone thinking about this role and not knowing a lot about the school or people, go for it.
