23rd October 2009, 10:35 AM #3 Felsted School has a pretty amazing history in its use of IT - it was well ahead of many (most?) other schools. You can find out more about its history if you look up Christopher Dawkins who ran IT there for many years.
I think it would be an excellent place to work (and I'm pretty sure they'll pay whatever salary they need in order to get a really good NM)

23rd October 2009, 11:07 AM #4 I also know it to be a good school. One of those that you have to do well in your 11+ to get into.
Good reputation so agree with the above.

24th November 2009, 01:25 PM #5 Don't suppose any EduGeek members were appointed for this job?

3rd December 2009, 01:09 PM #6 Turns out no-one was appointed and they are re-advertising with a higher salary.
This school is seriously particular in getting the right person and are willing to pass on others who would be good ... but they are willing to pay for the spectacular it seems.

3rd December 2009, 02:31 PM #12 Yep - I think that shows that they really want someone at the top of their game and really know their stuff. I'm not ashamed to admit thats not me (even if I would love that salary!) - at least not yet
