We have built an excellent IT infrastructure to support teaching and learning and business needs.
E-learning is now embedded across the curriculum and we are developing our own virtual learning environment. This is an exciting time to join our IT Support Team.

This post will cover all aspects of IT support across the service including:
• Server and Network support
• Configuration & Installation
• Continuity, Maintenance & Security
• Desktop and Applications Support
• Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle)
• Support for colleagues and related external contracts

With a recognised IT qualification or relevant experience, you will have a sound knowledge of current applications and experience of providing IT support within a small/medium sized networked organisation. You will be able to manage a busy workload with conflicting demands, to work independently at times and to deal with colleagues who have differing IT skills. Although based at our main centre for most of the time, we do need someone who is willing to work flexibly in sites across the Borough, including some evening/weekend work.

This post is full time (36 hours per week x 52 weeks with 22 days paid leave plus bank holidays)
The starting salary is £17,310. The salary range is Grade 3, Scale Points 14 – 17 (pay award pending)
