If the salary was a tad higher and my existing NM job wasn't as fun as it is I'd have probably gone for this one.
Plus you have to let us visit you
-Ken

I can honestly say that working within Northamptonshire is fantastic, people like Ken (wagnerk), Tony, and many many others who will make themselves known I'm sure is just one of the pleasures.

The Brooke Weston Partnership have a strong history of IT development and are a good bunch to work with. This will be their 3rd Academy (and a through school to boot) and well worth people going for. THe Network Managers at the other two academies are good people to work with. The Academy will be completely separate to the LA (the same way Corby Business Academy is) with regards to operational IT and infrastructure but the invite to local IT Manager / Support provider meetings is always open to anyone working in education in Northants. So, the person would not be working with me in the same way that other folks have / do (kmount, wagnerk, techyphil, etc) but there are some interesting things coming up in Northants that they will be able to get involved in.
Best of luck to those who apply.

Tempting, not sure it's the right time yet
Good luck to the applicants though!
