I had a great time. The interview format was particularly good.

I'm going to have to have a word with Matt ... interviews shouldn't be fun! They should be scary experiences making you sure that you know your place in things ...

@AXE I honestly hadn't put two and two together that you were over here for it ...

Good to hear so many people gave their best on it ... still wishing everyone luck. At least 3 applicants appear to be EG folk. I'm just waiting for the day when a school has all applicants that are EG members ... we might be able to get it on the application form in future.

I agree with that point, the whole experience was most pleasant.

I found the students especially engaging - but meeting the other candidates was also fun, it was more like a small IT convention than an interview

I know there were a few folks on here went for interview. Has anyone heard anything from them or am I the only one that hasn't been contacted?

Seems that they have decided not to appoint at the present time and will review the post later in the year.

Just been informed of this too ... the school are trying to contact everyone to let them know. I am not sure about what they will do if they are re-advertising (re calling back those who applied etc) but if it is a public advert then I'll link to it again.

It is worth saying that it seems that folk were impressed by the quality of candidates ... fingers crossed for you all for the future.
