hi

I wonder;does any one know of any ict technician or junior network administrator jobs in or around the peterborough area. I do not mind driving about an hour and a half.

I have done a BTEC in computer system support and have setup ICT systems in local businesses. I can use and program servers and ris servers. I have good knowledge of all aspects of computing and networking, i am happy to prove these to a prospective employer.

I am currently an EPOS field support engineer, this has given me a good knowledge of hardware fixing as in the field you have very little spare parts with you.

I want to get out of epos support as i feel this is not challenging enough for me.

ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED

I think that you have made a good start by looking at this forum.

What I would do I were you [what I have done myself as I am looking for work] is add the Educational IT Jobs to my RSS Feeds [or using Google Reader add a subscription for the forum and when a new post appears in the forum Google will E-Mail you]

Although each new employer needs to crb their employee's its often easier, especially for getting agency work (some of it can be quite long term), if you have already been crb'd and its come back clean
