I am leaving my current post, so have put this up on behalf of the school:


ICT SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN JE XS 6.2 Grade 6 £16,278 - £18,270 (pro rata)

35 hours a week term time only

The Sir John Colfox School is looking for an experienced ICT technician to assist the Systems Manager to support and maintain ICT systems across the school.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible person who:

* has experience, including problem solving across a range of technical issues
* has software and hardware knowledge
* has good working knowledge of Windows XP/XP pro and windows server
* has the ability to communicate well with both staff and students

I am off to the big smoke of central london to work for an IT support company as a consultant. Leaving the wonderful and magical land of education! (and Dorset!) But I shall still be very much checking in on the site from time to time as it has helped me out of numerous jams in the past, and will continue to do so I'm sure!

I was at your school a couple of weeks ago rehearsing for a big concert - it looks nice.

Lovely area to live - well, anywhere in Dorset is!!
