Why you guys getting a IT Director, isnt there a Network Manager there atm?
12th June 2009, 06:22 PM #3
Director of ICT tends to be more wide grasp than the Network Manager role encompassing curricular whole school achievements more than service provision.
A varied role if the right team exists.

Director of IT is often on the Leadership Team too, needs to understand T&L, govt strategies, gets involved with research, external agencies (SSAT / Becta / LA / etc) and so on ...
A fun role and hard work.
