Information Analyst Interview Help Needed

hello guys

i have an interview coming up soon for an information analyst and was wondering if anybody can shed some more light on a test that i have to do as part of the interview. I have been told as shown below it will using 2003 office

As part of the interview process, you will be required to undertake a 30 minute computer based exercise prior to the interview. This will involve the use of MS Access and MS Excel to interrogate and analyse a sample dataset.

Can anybody also if they can find any tutorials or tips on the net that can help me with this that would also be appreciated. i have used excel and access before but not for analysing data. thanks
