Certainly looks like it could do with BSF judging from the website (garish).
Don't mean to put it down but the job spec looks more for a teacher who does ICT in spare time!!!
An ICT systems manager who has experiece of pedogogy (teaching rituals) looks like a teacher post to me, help out in classroom well surely a HLTA would better suit and less costly.

lol it does yeah, I spoke to someone at the school and as soon as I heard the words BSF I was very uninterested lol

She said "The school is part of the BSF project for September 2011. It is likely that the ICT will then be outsourced but we really do not know as yet."

Don;t think it is teaching role (as got pay award pending so this means support staff). Think just got to have an educational focus and understand concepts of how ict supports teaching and learning aka you have to be more of educational technologist than an network manager..

Far as im aware yes but i could be wrong i dont get invited to the bsf meetings.
