PICT's goal is to achieve world class standards in the delivery, support and exploitation of ICT for Parliament.
PICT is Parliament's first Joint Department, serving both Houses as the provider of ICT services and as a business partner working with the administrations to build infrastructure and systems which enable Parliament to work effectively and to connect with the public.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals to work as part of a team to renew the Parliamentary ICT Infrastructure (including the Data Centre environment, server hardware, operating systems and enterprise) and provide the framework to support innovation, flexibility and agility; enabling PICT to fully meet the changing and demanding requirements of Parliament.
You will be required to undertake the administration of processes and production of standard reports within the Architecture & Design and Technical Services teams.
You will also provide administrative assistance in the design, planning, implementation, management, and operation of the IT infrastructure.
Your skills, knowledge and experience should include:
* good administrative skills with experience of administrative processes and procedures
* excellent written and verbal communication skills
