Home Based
The position will be home based and require going into London a maximum of one day a week for team meetings etc. So really you have to live within a 2.5hour train or car journey from London. I live near Gatwick airport.
I currently do the role and I spend 60% of my time around the country (mostly working on Durham BSF at the moment implementing a proof of concept on Citrix XenDesktop), 30% work from home and 10% in London. As you will be home based all travel costs are paid for.

Email not functioning...
Hi Derrick,
Interested in this role - tried to email you but it seems like an incorrect email add!
Is it me?

4th November 2008, 01:20 AM #6 Sounds very interesting - but I'd hesitate sending me CV to a Hotmail address! Some sort of official confirmation and organisational email would be a good idea.

4th November 2008, 01:47 AM #7 Often in cases like this you will see a consultant looking to help choose their replacement or person they will work alongside, so you may be contacting a hotmail address.
This helps weed out those that may not be suitably skilled or may not fit in with the people they will be working with. THe contracting company will always look favorably on a suggested person by a successful consultant on their books.
This sounds a very interesting prospect and I'm looking forward to see how it turns out.

E-Mail
Hi All,
With regard to my e-mail address Derrick.moore22@hotmail.com is correct but if you need another address please send your CV to Delcomnetworks@blueyonder.co.uk. I have asked my corporate HR and unfortunately I cannot use my corporate e-mail account to avoid being bombarded by employment agencies.
GrumbleDook is spot on, I am looking for someone to work along side (or be my apprentice) and I do get a finders fee.
I look forward to your responses.
Regards,
Derrick
