Position: SIMS Data Manager

Location: Middlesex North West London

Pay Rate: £9.00 - £12.00 per hour - dependent on experience

This an ongoing temporary booking to start ASAP for the next 3 months

Responsible to: I.T Network Manager

Administration and maintenance of pupil related data - related to Attendance Assessments, Options, Timetable and Performance Analysis and the production of management reports and returns as required. To be responsible for ensuring data integrity is maintained by following regular maintenance procedures

To be responsible for the School’s Information Management System (SIMS) and the integrity of data held within it

To thoroughly check and correct any problems in the SIMS attendence module in advance of any statutory returns and flag any concerns to Senior Leaders and Heads of year

To set up and maintain pre admission groups prior to the new intake, produce reports to a high quality and with a high level of accuracy

To set up new pupils and remove leavers on SIMS using appropriate methods and informing the Office if the pupil being set up or removed

Experience in the use of generic data handling applications, such as spreadsheets and databases

Aptitude for figure work, able to set up databases, work with formulae, data retrieval and graphical presentations

Good management skills including planning, prioritise workload accordingly

Resourceful, positive and enthusiastic with a good sense of humour.
