Vacancy - ICT Consultant - Brighton & Hove

ICT Consultant (Harnessing Technology for Teaching & Learning)
    Brighton & Hove City Council

    Salary: Scale M10 £ 31,606 - £ 34,140

    Reference: FRS13938

Based in the Education Systems Team, you will provide support and development input to major grant funded ICT projects. In a hybrid research, organisation/negotiation and implementation role you will be central to the success of solutions such as the Learning Platform project. You will manage a citywide implementation (including account provisioning, authentication and single sign on) and integration with services on our schools’ broadband network. If you have a degree-level qualification, excellent hands-on organisational and ICT technical skills and a good appreciation of how technology can support the Every Child Matters agenda then this post could be for you.

I could do the commute (though until they get the M27 sorted it would be a pain) and could certainly do with the £30K/foot in the door. Unfortunately I'm not convinced that I have either the skills or the necessary level of BS to apply.
