Job Hunting Survey - Please Help

Guys hope you can help,

I am doing a study for a Diploma course on recruitment in the Education sector and wanted to run a poll of EduGeekers to find out where they had discovered their latest role.

If you could indicate for me it might make for interesting reading!

Limited to 10 types so hopefully this captures everyone..

My last role I found in the local paper (which I voted), however my current role, I was promoted to.

Having noticed the odd school based job in the local newspaper, I went to the source and kept scanning my local, and neighbouring, council's websites for job vacancies.

Thirty years in IT and every job has been a result of newspaper ads by the company or school concerned. I've sent my CV literally hundreds (and probably thousands) of times to agencies and I've never had an interview as a consequence.

My current job was via the RM Communities, my previous job was via word of mouth.

I am an ex pupil here where I work and was here from Year 7 into the sixth form (11 - 18). Left the sixth form in the June and was working in the school by the September - 8 years down the line and i'm still here!
