Work Placement Student - Share
Hi,
I'm the network manager at Riverside Community College in Leicester and we seriously need at least another half a technician. Problem is i've been told we cant afford one.
I would like to get a work placement student from De Montfort Uni in for a year so that we are not tide in to any permanent position but still we can not afford it.
Would anyone in the leicester area be interested in sharing a student?
I dont know if this is allowed but if anyone is interested PM me and i'll try to find out more.
Cheers
Mike

We already have a student here, but we are looking at other opportunities that may be available. It may be time for those of use with students to get together and actually talk about sharing some ideas and info.
I have already asked our Training School Manager to set up a meeting, I will let you know when that is likely to happen if you fancy a trip down here or if we come up to De Montfort.

Why won't schools pay for extra required IT support?! They did the same here with me!
