Learning Environment Manager
We aim to be one of the leading Schools in the UK for e-learning by 2012. To achieve our goal, we need your considerable technical expertise to design and install the hardware to support our ambitious plans for a VLE, to train users, to build and lead a team of staff developing content for the VLE, and of course to oversee the maintenance and development of the system. This is a key role which we would expect to see expanding significantly in the coming years; it’s therefore an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven professional with outstanding technical abilities and existing expertise in supporting e-learning and VLEs to advise management, influence the future shape of e-learning in our school, and to build their experience in the technologies of the future.”

20th February 2008, 12:04 PM #2 That looks like an interesting post - but are you not tempted to hang on and see what the LEA are offering in the way of a VLE over the next couple of months before you go it alone?
