IT Technician - Brooke Weston CTC

A very good support team here ... a good opportunity for someone starting out.

Is that the 'real' salary or is it going to be altered pro rata for term time and/or school hours?

There is no "term time only equivalent" ... that is the real salary.

Brooke Weston operate a 5 term year (8 on, 2 off, and so on ... then 4 off for summer) during which techies are in full time (hours negotiate at interview) and they usually get 4 weeks a year, to be taken during the hols.

It is a busy school (as most are) but the team are a good bunch and it can be the perfect place to hone your skills. I started there as a mouse cleaner and left .... well ... being able to clean keyboards too :-)

Being serious though ... I wouldn't put it up if I didn't think it was a good oppurtunity. Just ask gecko, he is a former student and he didn't turn out too bad.

It *is* a great opportunity. Hopefully they will find someone soon. My wife studied at the CTC and liked it a lot.
