Excellent large FE College requires an MIS manager to manage a small data team delivering all aspects of data management and reporting for the further education college. Including the submission of funding returns, this role is vital to the efficient running of the college and requires someone with a high level of technical expertise, excellent SQL skills utilising SQL Server 2012, Office and ideally SharePoint (although not essential).
Previous experience with FE data would be highly advantageous as you will be required to understand funding methodology, exams, performance statistics, audit, be the main contact with funding organisations like the EFA, Dfe, SFCA, and be in contact with other organisations like ALIS, ALPS, L3VA and be a member of the timetabling team.
Although the systems are developed in house based on SQL any experience of other FE systems like SIMS, Advanced learning, progresso, unit-e, sits, oracle, compass pro-achieve etc would be useful
