Maltings Academy is an oversubscribed specialist Sports and Science academy in Witham, Essex. We have a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff alike. Maltings Academy is a key member of The Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), a multi-academy sponsor which aims to provide the opportunity for all young learners to fulfil their real potential, broaden their horizons and become active, prosperous and successful citizens in the world around them.
We are looking to appoint an IT Technician to provide front line support for students and staff in order that all academy IT systems are fully functioning at all times and IT Service Level Agreements are maintained to contribute to the continued development of the academy IT provision.
The successful candidate will have good experience with basic functions of Microsoft Windows computer networks (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008).
The working hours for this position may be between 7.30am and 6pm and there will be a requirement to work weekends on occasions and respond to call outs outside working hours and weekends in the event of major failures.
