CSE is looking for a Network Manager to join its team in the /Worcestershire/West Midlands area. The successful applicant will look after a team of technicians based in a number of connected schools. It will be their responsibility to take responsibility of ICT issues occurring on the system and ensure they are responded to in a timely manner by delegating tasks to the team, dealing with the issue directly or escalating to a Senior CSE Engineer or the CSE Support Team.
Successful candidates will be excellent communicators who excel both at managing and working with a team and also working alone. They will be able to manage their own and others’ time successfully, and also be able to work to a schedule.
The role will be based rotationally around a collection of connected schools, and include setting up, maintaining, and supporting their ICT systems.
Required or beneficial experience includes:
•Management a team of ICT technicians
•Windows Server OSs
•Server virtualisation (Citrix XenServer)
•Infrastructure experience (HP networking, Wi-Fi, VLANs)
•Storage (SAN, NAS)
•Active Directory, Group Policy
•Apple Mac setup and integration
•Network backup (Symantec Backup Exec)
•Network services (DNS, DHCP, SQL, IIS, File and Print)
•MS Exchange 2013/Office 365
•Desktop deployment (Windows 7/8/Apple)
•Full, clean driving licence
