Senior IT Technician - North Yorkshire

APT&C Scale 4/5 (£16,137 - £20,235) depending on qualities, skills & knowledge,
37 hrs per week, full time. The Council is currently undertaking a comprehensive job evaluation exercise and the grades and salaries shown are subject to review.

The successful applicant will lead a team of five supporting the ICT systems within the school under the guidance of the Network Manager. The candidate will have excellent ICT knowledge with a friendly and outgoing personality.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a very highly regarded specialist Maths and Computing College. Some of the main duties include:

Installing and maintaining hardware on the network (supported by the ICT technicians).
Supporting users on the network.
Support the ICT Technician in our partner primary schools.
Assisting in the delivery of ICT training to staff.
Assist in the planning and implementation of changes to elements of the ICT service.

Then 4 IT Technicians, 1 specialising in Media, 1 who primarily supports our partner organisations and 2 who are based entirely at Fulford.
